Hey everyone how you all doin? First of all let me say thank you to all of you, for your unconditional love and support. It has been strength to me on every level, at every stage of my life and at every gig that you have made your presence known.
As you may recall I did a TV Pilot earlier this year @ The Metro, well I have finally received the captured footage, a DVD product which may be of some use for promotion, and enjoyment for fans and friends. I’d like to thank the dedicated musicians and singers that helped me at this event; Eric Aranda, Nik Pringadi, Cesar Marin, Grant Matheson, Tony Azzopardi, Juanita Tippons and Jonah Latukefu and my helpers Adele, Joseph and Harald for your love and promotional expertise… What about those posters??
To all who came to The Metro, your enthusiastic support at the gig was mind blowing. BTW they have been shopping the pilot and still think it’s possible that ABC may pick it up. Who knows? Nevertheless a great gig, memories made up of you and now a DVD to document it.
Believe it or not, this past year, I have dabbled in some acting. There have been 2 short films of which I have had the pleasure of being part of. One was a film by Carlo Ledesma called “Blinding” of which I played the burnt out girlfriend, and another a film by Jolene Warren and Nicole Johnstone called “Bethany says No”. Yes I was Bethany, a victim of domestic violence… quite heavy, but wait there’s more, Leroy (my “talented” son), got to play my son in the film. He LOVED the film process and was such a great participant, apparently very easy to direct. How about that ay? I didn’t have a babysitter at the audition and they offered him the part too! As you can imagine he was very excited. Just some news thought you might take some interest in. It’s been such a challenge and I have quite a healthy renewed respect for actors, let me tell you.
Well there’s a reason for everything, and we all know that life takes us through wild and wonderful and not so wonderful journeys; yes I have been in hiding…quiet, but only to reflect on my life and my future. I have had many offers, and much to consider. But the much anticipated news is that for the next 12 months I will be focusing my energies into a special album project. That’s right my friends; it’s about time, so lots of songwriting, lots of recording to look forward to. Please be patient, and keep me in your prayers. It’s very exciting and I am looking forward to the creative challenge. No doubt you will hear of album launches and album promotions coming up, so please stay tuned and keep checking for updates!
In the meantime you can drop me a line, or come and visit me where Reviva is playing and the Quincy Jones tribute at the Basement (see gig guide for details).
Again thanks to you all and much love. Have a great year! It’s gonna be a big one!
Peace and Love
Our congratulations to Sarina as she has been requested to take part in a special TV Show Pilot called
"Unsigned and Unplugged", coming up on Thursday, the 21st of April @ the Metro, in Sydney.
However she will be drawing on support of her friends, loved ones and supporters out there. Spread the word, rally some friends and friends of friends to help the Show and moreover your support for Sarina's part in it.
This is a great opportunity for Sarina to showcase her original compositions on a Television Show that will hopefully be picked up and take off. It's a very rare and special time for any artist.
A special demand from Executive Producer of the show, and that is to rally up all supporters and fans to the live audience filmed, guests bringing with them Placards and Signs in show of support to the artist they are present for..... Wow, that's TV
hey!
There is a special deal for Sarina's personal guests that is, $15 per ticket, that would otherwise cost you $25 via Ticketek plus booking fees in addition to that.
The Executive Producer has credible experience and is confident that once the TV Show filmed at such a venue in front of a live audience presented as the finished product will be too good to resist among the networks.
Please contact Sarina for more info please email sarina@sarinamusic.com
See up and coming performances here.
